PROPERTY developer Agile Real Estate Development Sdn Bhd officially launched its maiden project at its sales gallery in Sri Hartamas recently.
Agile Mont Kiara is a joint venture between Agile Real Estate Development Sdn Bhd, the fully owned subsidiary of Agile Property Holdings Limited, and PJ Development Holdings Berhad.
The residential development features 813 units of condominium spread across 11 low-to high-rise towers on a 4.1ha plot of freehold land.
The units are available in seven types with a built-up area ranging from 1,162sq ft to 5,037sq ft, priced from RM1.5mil onwards.
“We are dedicating six out of 10 acres as an environmental deck, with pools parks and recreational areas,” said Agile Real Estate Development Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Wilson Ren.
He added that the area would bind together the people living in Agile Mont Kiara.
With a gross development value of RM1.4bil, the development is slated for completion by the fourth quarter of 2019.
“As a company with more than 20 years of experience in property development, we have a strong and diversified portfolio of 90 projects, which include hotels and resorts, residential and commercial projects across China.
“Agile Mont Kiara is the first international project for Agile Property Holdings Limited and the project will showcase the company’s strengths in architecture and build of green development, landscaping, space planning and design and remarkable interiors,” said Ren.
Ren added that out of 170 units, 70% of Tower H, which was the first tower to open for sale, was sold prior to the launch.
In conjunction with the launch, high-rise Tower I and low-rise Tower D were opened for sale.
“We are targeting at RM600mil sales this year,” said Ren.
The launch event saw an overwhelming turnout of both international investors and developers who had the chance to learn more about the development.
The launching of the development started with a performance by 24 Season Drums.
Officiating at the launch was Kuala Lumpur City Hall executive director (Planning) Datuk Mohd Najib Mohd, China’s ambassador to Malaysia Huang Huikang, Agile Property Holdings Limited chairman Chen Zuo Lin and PJ Development Holdings Berhad chairman Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat.
“With the rising economic power of South-East Asia and strategic drive from China, Malaysia as a multiracial nation with abundance of natural resources and western educational system, the country will become the next investment hotspot.
“Together, the Agile development philosophy supported by the Malaysian government and the help of the community, we believe Agile Mont Kiara will become Malaysia’s new landmark for real estate investment project on the international stage,” said Ren.
Agile Property Holdings Limited executive director Huang Chao Feng said at the launch that apart from Agile Mont Kiara, there would be another development in downtown Kuala Lumpur to look out for.
He added that the company had plans to expand into other countries including Australia, the US and the UK.
